World-famous coffee chain Café Amazon launches in Bashundhara

Thailand’s world-famous coffee chain, Café Amazon, has officially launched its commercial operations in Bangladesh.    

Under the overall supervision of the Bashundhara Group, the first phase of the grand inauguration ceremony was held at 11:30 am on Thursday at Café Amazon’s flagship store in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential Area.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Chairman of the Anvir Bashundhara Group (ABG); Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, Managing Director (MD) of the Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG); Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Ambassador, Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka; Anusorn Kautipvittaya, Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Royal Thai Embassy; Pojjana Paniangvait, president of the Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce.  

In his speech, Tanvir Bashundhara Group Managing Director Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan said, “Every brand has defining moments - moments that shape its future beyond its home country. The second phase of the inauguration will be held at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall at 3:00 pm on Thursday.      

The event, open to the public and coffee enthusiasts, will feature traditional Thai cultural performances and entertainment programmes.
