News24 receives YouTube Golden Play Button

Popular satellite television channel of the country and a concern of East West Media Group Ltd (EWMGL) News24 has been awarded the YouTube Golden Play Button. 

News24 Head of News Rahul Raha, flanked by other senior officials of the channel, handed over the Golden Play Button to Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir at EWMGL in Bashundhara residential area of the capital on Sunday.

Daily Sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, Kaler Kantha Editor and Director of EWMGL Imdadul Haq Milan, Banglanews24.com Editor Jewel Mazhar and senior officials of Bashundhara Group were present at the event. 

YouTube, online video sharing platform headquartered in San Bruno, California, US, awards the Gold Play Button to creators who have had their channels surpass one million subscribers.

News24 acheived YouTube's recognition before the Coronavirus outbreak. Currently, the channel has about 2 million subscribers.
