600 get free eye care in Brahmanbaria

Bashundhara Eye Hospital and Research Institute (BEHRI) provided free treatment to around 600 underprivileged people at an eye camp in Khakchail village of Brahmanbaria on Tuesday.
In partnership with the local Fakir Memorial Foundation, expert physicians from BEHRI served the underprivileged patients at Fakir Memorial Foundation School.
Former vice-chancellor of Green University Dr Golam Samdani Fakir is a patron of the programme.

The eight-member medical team includes BEHRI senior consultant Dr Saiful Islam and consultant Dr Kazi Adnan.
Sushil Kumar Sarkar, CEO of Management and Skill Development Institute (MSDI), and Abdun Nur, head teacher of Fakir Memorial Foundation School, were present on the occasion.
